Leslie, thanks so much for posting this!
Deep autumn looks so much better to me than deep winter. In my mind, it’s either that or warm autumn (but maybe I’m too deep for that?). It’s amazing how clear everything becomes once you see yourself draped!

I will have to say deep winter, too. Her complexion looks a lot more even in the cold colours, and her hair and eyes sparkles. Also, she appears to get a lot more shadows on her face with the autumn colours than the winter ones.

I prefer Valeria in deep winter colours, but it’s really tough, I think she is almost in the middle of the 2 seasons.

I prefer the deep autumn colors. Her eyes are bright. The color in her face is nice. When I first see her I am drawn to her eyes.

I would say deep autumn, she has warmth in her skin tone. The winter colours make her skin look pale. She appears more tanned and healthy with the autumn tones.

In my opinion hte deep winter colors look much better. Her complexion looks more even and healthy with cold colors in my opinion. She looks bruised draped in the autumn colors. But probably having a photo wear lipstick plays a great role isn’t helping us decide what’s better, that lipstick color looks slightly orangey to me, and that might be why some perfer her in autumn colors.

I like deep autumn for this one since the tones are more soothing for her, the winters esp the pink look very clashing. The bright blue on the autumn looks lovely.

Hmmmm, is the exposure the same on both photos? The bottom picture looks lighter. She looks a little washed out in the winter palette and striking & warm in the autumn colors, so I’m voting for deep autumn, too.

I think the reason Valeria looks paler in the bottom photo is because the effect from the computer screen - if you move your face directly infront of the bottom photo it gets darker…
What would help is if you put the photos side by side…thanks!

P.S. - I also think that she needs to wear the colours - because they will change the lighting on her face - and these colours are computer generated after her photo was taken so you cannot really get the true impact…by seeing if it adds shadows under her eyes or takes wrinkles away…
The photo needs to be taken of each colour in a drape of material or as a high gloss card on her in the moment to capture the effect.

I prefer the Deep Autumn colours, only because the softness of some of the colours seems to be more harmonious with the Valeria’s overall look.
However, something about the winter colours seems to be making the skin clearer, as some of the other readers have also noticed. I think the Deep Winter green and deep/red burgundy colours are especially flattering, but the brighter, clearer colours seems to clash.

I think she looks equally good in both Deep Autumn and Deep Winter but they do have quite a different effect on her skin tone and her eye colour.
Deep Autumn makes her eyes appear deeper and her skin deeper and tanned looking. However Deep Winter does clarify her skin more. She is probably right bang in the middle of both.
November 9th, 2009 at 3:47 pm It seems to me that she has some yellow/warm undertones, so I’m going to say deep autumn…

June 9th, 2010 at 4:13 am Deep winter! Deep autumn pushes her into the background.
June 16th, 2010 at 10:47 am She recently had a live analysis and came out a Deep Autumn.
